Hello, folks thanks for joining us this holiday season. We want to wish you happy holidays. We know you are getting the holiday vibes already as  we are doing here. We also know that Ibadan is going to be lit over the holidays and we are all going to be having fun. Therefore we have gone through the trouble of picking a few out of the numerous events that will be going down in Ibadan over the week of Christmas (From December 21st to the 30th), and we have selected a few of them that you should consider attending.



The third edition of Ibadan’s premier networking and interaction event for startups, #AfterFive:The Homecoming Edition, returns to Ibadan on then 21st. #AfterFive  is,  an interactive session and networking platform for entrepreneurs and Startups, hosted by Paul Adepoju, CNN and Quartz contributor  and CEO of IBpulse, Ibadan’s top online news and lifestyle blog. The event holds at Agodi Gardens, Agodi Ibadan, by 5pm. Attendees will have a chance to meet some of Nigeria’s finest young entrepreneurs. ​If you are in the mood to put a smile on the face of someone less fortunate this Christmas, then you should donate to or Volunteer for Aunty Lanre Initiative’s Children Christmas Experience on the 24th. ALI is​ bringing holiday cheer to orphans and vulnerable children from fifteen homes in Ibadan this Christmas. Join Lanre and Bolu Onasanya  on the 24th by 2pm as they bring ALI’s  Children Christmas Experience to Ibadan Home for The Motherless, Omolewa Junction, near UCH Main Gate, Ibadan. Abivah Foundation is taking the spirit of holiday giving to the streets of Ibadan on the 22nd. Santa is in Town is aimed at ensuring that every child on the streets of Molete, Ojaaba, Idi-Arere and Oje all have the opportunity to smile this Christmas. For Donations and Support. If you love  comedy and entertainment and you are looking for a place to hangout on the 26th, then you should be at th15th edition of  Lafup Live. At Lafup Life, you will enjoy performances from the finest comedians in Ibadan and Nigeria, as well as music by the finest artistes in the Nigerian entertainment industry. Lafup Live will light up Ibadan at Jogor Centre, Liberty Road, Ibadan as from 4pm

​On the 26th, ChocParty, the biggest chocolate themed party in the city of Ibadan will be live. Chocparty is a family hangout event organized by Chocboy, Nigeria’s premium chocolate brand. The   place to be is the Lead City High School Football Pitch, Jericho, Ibadan from 12 noon.  it promises to be a great time, filled with lots of fun stuff to do with your family and friends. ​Join the World of Food + Events as the initiative spreads the Christmas cheer to the less privileged. The team will be visiting the Oluyole Cheshire Home, Polytechnic Road Ibadan. Royal Roots FM is bringing The Hangout, an evening of music, poetry, Karaoke and dance to Ibadan on the 29th. Come to the Cinema Arena of The Palms Shopping Mall, Ringroad , Ibadan by 3pm  and enjoy a fun and variety filled evening with your friends and family, with Ibadan’s finest, musicians, poets, comic acts,  and dancers all on hand to make sure that you have fun. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy premium Karaoke, as curated by Nairoke Entertainment , the finest Karaoke Company in Nigeria.


If you are a foodie like us, then you will enjoy an afternoon of Homemade  Goodness at the Home Cookout With Chef Mulligan on the 30th. It promises to be a fantastic event with music, giveaways, and food. Join other foodies at 49 Hillside, Oke Agala Estate, Ibadan by 2pm.
