The monthly  Arts and Culture Exchange organized by  Sankofa Initiative for Culture & Development, a nongovernmental organization breaking new grounds in the fields of culture and development, returns to Ibadan again this June. Join the Sankofa team and other lovers of books and literature on Saturday the 17th of June 2017  at the Practical Theatre of the Department of Theatre Arts, University of Ibadan, to enjoy an afternoon with fresh voices on the Nigerian literary scene.

This month, the guests at the Arts and Culture Exchange are a short story writer and a poet. Olubunmi Familoni, the winner of the 2014 Association of Nigerian Authors/ Abubakar Gimba Prize for Short Stories and author of the collection of short stories, Smithereens of Death and Romeo Oriogun,  poet and  Winner of the 2017 Brunel International African Poetry Prize. Attendance is free.
