If you are in Ibadan or nearby and you are passionate about ending rape and child molestation, then you should be at the War Against Rape (WAR) summit, holding at the University of Ibadan from Thursday 23rd of August to Saturday the 25th of August 2018. The summit, which is organized by the War Against Rape Initiative and CSWII will feature child rights activists, medical professionals, academics and other stakeholders in the fight against rape, and child molestation and abuse.
The War Against Rape (WAR) summit is titled Prevention, Protection, Detection and Prosecution. The event will feature discussions and sessions in the areas of sexual exploitation, body language and the nature of consent, myths and beliefs about rape. Prominent women and child rights activists will also be on hand to share their thoughts and experiences on exploitative relationships as well as the current state of awareness and activism on Rape as well as child molestation and abuse. The summit is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
